The mister and I may have started the kiddos off on a black diamond run to the side of the house. There were tears, lots of them... which was kinda shocking to us. Despite their unhappiness, I still laughed til I cried. Maybe even peed a little. ; ) It wasn't long til we made our way to the front of the house. Bunny hill style. Banana bread was served. Smiles and giggles came to the surface. B and I threw around the word "magic" a lot. I overheard him on his phone asking his mom if she'd come watch the girls some time this week so that he and I could hit up the untapped runs at the back of the house. *swoon* I married a gooder I tell ya. Perfect afternoon babe. A ten, if you must know.

word of the month

I love it. Will do almost anything to hear her say it. Some days that means moving things from room to room, only to move them back again later. On this particular day it meant setting her up in a random rocking chair mid laundry room 'rearrange' to capture it's sweet goodness. *smile*

just because...

this year i want to...

* expect less.

* give more thanks.

* sweat. every. day. 

* eat out less.

* attempt & perfect this.

* stay on top of our laundry situation. 

* see Bon Iver live. (this counts non?)

* give out more unexpected kisses.
