"Vida Blue, you don't walk anywhere, you run. You bounce off the walls going down the hall and get up jumping when you fall. When you see the white man come up on the crosswalk light you raise your arms, scream 'white man' and jump off the curb. Whenever you think you've hurt me, you promptly lick my face and bat those big brown eyes at me and smile. You love shopping for groceries, giving them to the cashier and then packing and carrying the bag. You are an amazing child who is full of life, loves to laugh, has loads of energy, is enthusiastic and knows what you want."
